We take great pride in our modest home and in the dedicated efforts of the monks who oversee our distinctive English Trappist Ales. We warmly welcome visitors eager to learn about the ale-making process and how we create Tynt Meadow.
Mount St Bernard Trappist Brewery is the only Trappist Brewery in the United Kingdom. As a result, our tours entwine the process of ale making with the rich history behind our order and home.
All proceeds from our tours directly contribute to the upkeep of our community and support our charitable initiatives. By participating, visitors help sustain our efforts and make a positive impact to both the monastery and the wider community.
Our brewery tours are scheduled during times when the facility is not actively producing beer. This approach therefore ensures a peaceful and tranquil environment at Mount St Bernard for the resident monks. By operating in this manner, we can maintain the sanctity of the monastic order while providing an informative experience for our visitors.
Brewery tours cost £30 per person and are inclusive of tastings and a complimentary bottle of Tynt Meadow.
